After an unusual night in a tepee, come and experience the ViaRhôna in a different way! Take a canoe or kayak on the Haut-Rhône Sauvage from Yenne to Champagneux, and then cycle to Saint-Genix-sur-Guiers on the ViaRhôna.
This tour is 100% Nature. The 10 km itinerary between the Rhône and Dent du Chat takes you through the Pierre Châtel National Heritage site. While you're on the water, you'll have time to admire the historical heritage and natural landscapes.
This route is also available in stand-up paddle!
The tour is only available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 10.30 a.m.
Meet at Camping et Base Nautique du Haut Rhône Sauvage - Kanoti. Departure from Gorges de la Balme and arrival at Champagneux.
1st thing to do on arrival: go to the reception chalet and fill in the rental contract and payment (credit card or cash) for the outing.
Each outing includes a briefing at the base nautique, equipment including lifejacket(s), paddle(s) and waterproof canister(s), and transport by minibus to the launch point (subject to availability).
Please bring: water, cell phone, closed sandals or sneakers, hat or cap, sunglasses, bathing suit, shirt or T-shirt, towel and change of clothes.
Outing cancellation clause: the base will contact you in the event of thunderstorms, storms or major temperature variations. Rain is not a reason for cancelling an outing.
Your bikes and other belongings are transferred to Champagneux (meeting point after the canoe descent) where the bikes and canoes are exchanged.
Bonus: organic and local snacks on site; available from 01/07 to 31/08.
